Finally! The Health Care Reform bill has passed in Senate just few hours ago! It's a great victory over the selfishness and selfcentricism. The highlights are:
- Insurance company won't be able to recess your health insurance just because you had not disclose your disease like diabetes or high blood pressure
- Insurance company won't deny your coverage or can't increase your premium because of pre-existing conditions
- Insurance company can't put a cap on your lifetime health expense
- There would be health insurance exchange (not very clear how that'd impact us directly)
- There'd be wider access to medicaid/medicare etc.
Now lets see how the House and Senate versions are merged to get the final version of the bill which President Barack Obama would sign
